Welcome to Safari Time - the place where we help little babies become true 'global citizens' through play, music, songs and reading.
We want to turn all our little babies and children into global citizens and nurture their natural curiosity about different languages, different cultures and the world all around them.
Babies and little children have a natural ability to learn new languages and easily speak several languages.
Babies and little children do not see the limits of national boundaries drawn on a map or imposed by passports and visas.
Babies and little children are naturally open to experiencing different cultures and looking at the world in completely new ways.
At Safari Time we want to harness babies’ natural abilities when their brains are at their most amazing at being able to learn new languages and are at their most open to new
experiences. What they learn now and how their minds are shaped at this early stage in their lives will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
And so we sing songs in different languages from all over the world and in different languages from English to Chinese and from Swahili to French.
We learn to count in different languages and read stories from across the world.
“Safari” means to travel in Swahili (the language spoken across East Africa including Kenya and Tanzania). That’s why we are called “Safari Time” because this is the chance for your baby and child to travel and experience the world.
We want every child to feel the entire world is their home.

And let us know if you are interested in hosting a Safari Song group or want us to come to you.
Friday classes are at 10.30 for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old. We use more Chinese instruction so that grandparents and ayi's can follow more easily, to help parents who might not be able to attend.
Toddlers class at 09.30 - 10.30 for 18 months to 4 years.
Babies class 10.30 - 11.30 from tiny to 2 years.
For all the classes let us know if your little one has had a birthday - so we can celebrate with them.
